About Me

My name is Tim Marshall, I’m 26 and an inspiring architect. The reason I created the Cold Sore Cure page is because I’ve been infected with the Herpes Simplex Virus-1, also known as the Cold Sore virus. My cold sores began at the age of 12 but as far as when I contracted the virus, who knows. As I’ve learned, the virus can stay dormant for years and then just pop up out of no where in the form of the blisters.

These blisters are what caused me look for the way to cure a cold sore. Every time I had a break out I’d call out of work for a day or two to hide from the initial break out which was usually very red and painful for me. By day 3 the redness was reduced somewhat and I was actually able to somewhat hide them with some concealer (yeah, I know! But I was desperate!).

My cold sores not only affected my career but my relationship life as well. I remember having a date with a girl who I had been seeing for quite sometime and getting a breakout on my lip. She saw it and since we had been dating for a few weeks I felt comfortable enough to tell her what it was, I was wrong. Her initial reaction was “Wow, you have herpes?” You can imagine how I felt and how angry I was at the ignorance of some people. But I realized that people who aren’t infected with the virus usually don’t care to look into the details and realize that there are two completely different types of the Herpes simplex virus.

Anyways, it was actually my current girlfriend who helped me search for the cold sores cure. She saw how much it effected me and realized how much potential I had if I could prevent them. As we know, there is no known cure for the actual virus, but we can find a way to prevent and stop the actual cold sores. Because of her efforts and diligence, I was able to find the cold sore cure.
